The Natural History Museum was founded in 1828 by a group of science enthusiasts and zoological experts who were based in the city. It has since that time brought together one of the finest collections of natural history artefacts and documents that exist in the country. A well ordered and loved collection; the museum is open throughout the year to visitors.
