The poets fountain has stood in place for a great deal of years and has become a symbolic homage to the great creativity that takes place in this area and has done for generations. The fountain is dedicated in main to the memory of Maurice Careme, a polymath and artist who really put this area on the map. It is a place where local people sit and contemplate.
