The Reinhardstein is a beautiful castle like no other that you will find in Belgium. It was constructed in the 14th Century and was left in ruins in the 20th Century before a university professor decided that he was going to have it restored in the late 1960s. The name suggests as well as the appearance that the castle really is part of Germany and not part of Belgium at all, a poignant and well debated matter amongst scholars.
