The neo-Gothic railway station is a fine piece of architecture that was built at the very end of the 19th Century. Celebrating the age of steam and the industrial revolution, this commission was not alone in Belgium, a country that embraced the railway age. The main facades and roof have been recently restored and therefore are returned to their former glory.
