The town hall is one of the most impressive pieces of architecture in this area. It has a grand façade and has stood as a symbol of the independence of this area of the country and the town for a great many years. Within the hall, although primarily a place of administration, visitors will find a selection of great artworks and pieces of furniture from the old days of Belgian design.
