The town hall was inaugurated in 1961 on the occasion of celebrating seven hundred and fifty years of the freedom of the city. The building replaced the old town hall which had formerly stood at the heart of the market square. The burnt glass windows and wall paintings throughout make this a fascinating piece of art and design that is well worth a look.
