The Windmill was an important part of the community from the 18th Century when it was first constructed. Providing flour from the local grains, the mill was aloft a hill and overlooked the community. It has not worked commercially since early in the 20th Century, but is now open to the public for demonstrations and to enjoy the sheer beauty of the old piece.
